More details

Dates: Five weeks, from mid October to November 15, 2026.
Who can apply: High school students with a math class this year and at least one math test before November 15. A parent agrees to your taking part.
How we select: We read every application ourselves and choose ten students across a range of levels. You don't need to be top of your class.
The study: We look at your math grades, your confidence and what you do when you get stuck, at the start and at the end.
Payment: $150, paid once you complete the five weeks: three sessions a week and both questionnaires. You can leave at any time.
Privacy: Your answers and session data are used for this study and to improve Sophie. We never sell them. We share your story only with written permission from you and your parent.
